Alissa Dunn

Author of The Unclaimed Christmas Gift

There are a few people that I wish to thank for helping make my writing career possible. I wouldn't have gotten as far without their guidance.

To all my family and friends who have supported my efforts and provided encouragement to pursue my goals and aspirations. I couldn't have done this without you. Thank you for reading my stories, but moreover enjoying them. Thanks for sharing your own stories with me and your ideas for success.  I love you all.

Now to thank the people who directly influenced my writing abilities and interests:

Mrs. Tucker -  my sixth grade English teacher. You pushed me, and never accepted work that wasn't done exactly to your specifications. I had no idea that the publishing industry would mimic your classroom!

Roald Dahl -  one of the best authors of all time. Your story, "James and the Giant Peach," helped me to earn the first "A" that I got in Mrs. Tucker's English class! She stopped hating me after I did that book report. I actually impressed the woman because I was enthusiastic about what I had read. I wish I could have met you. God rest your soul. Thank you!

Thank you to PublishAmerica for believing in my work.

Thanks to the many authors I have befriended along this journey. Your very valuable support and advice is kept both in my mind and my heart.

Thank you to all my "fans" who have purchased and supported my work. Thanks for giving my characters a place to live in your hearts. I appreciate it very much.

Last, but not least, I thank God for giving me the ability to help others through my writing.

Love y'all.   Thanks for being there for me!
